An obelisk is a reverential monument connecting heaven and earth. It symbolizes regeneration and creation, and represents strength and stability. Thus was how Freemasons were hewn from rough stones into perfect ashlars. To remind the brethren of MD Nueva Ecija South and Aurora and all Masons of Freemasonry’s aspiration for perfection and of its mission of making good men better and uniting them into a brotherhood that aims to create a better world for everyone, Past DDGM Jebong initiated the erection of an obelisk during his incumbency.   The project however took some time and was completed when he already turned over the gavel of the District's leadership to incumbent DDGM Alfred. The Philippine Revolution of 1896-1898 is said to be Masonically inspired and in celebration of the country's 127th year of independence from Spain's colonial rule, DDGM Alfred led the subordinate Lodges of MD Nueva Ecija East and Aurora and Appendant Bodies in commemorating with the Municipal Government of Talavera the heroism of brother Masons who fought for the country's freedom. On 03 May 2025, DDGM Alfred Leonard Domingo performed his first official act as the District Deputy Grandmaster of Masonic District RIII Nueva Ecija East and Aurora by visiting the brethren of Allium Cepa Masonic Lodge No. 453 in the historic town of Bongabon, Nueva Ecija.  DDGM Alfred was installed as the official alter ego of the Grand Master, MW Raul Canon Jr., who took over as the 107th Grand Master of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Free and Accepeted Masons of the Philippines, in governing MD Nueva Ecija East and Aurora at the conclusion of the 108th Annual Communication that was convened at the World Trade Center in Pasay City on April 24-26.
