Dedication of Kasiguruhan 423's Masonic Temple
It took 7 years to build King Solomon's Temple but only 4 months to erect Kasiguruhan Masonic Lodge No. 423 Masonic edifice.
Such was the effort invested by DDGM Rommel Angara and the brethren of Kasiguruhan 423 that an amazed Grand Master Johnny Pimentel who travelled 354 kilomenters from Manila to preside over the temple's dedication ceremony said that it could be the record for the fastest Masonic temple ever built within the juristiction of the Grand Lodge of the Philippines.
In a ceremony that is as old as the history of the Craft, the Brother Architect who supervised the construction of the Temple surrendered the Square, Level and Plumb to the Grand Master who after examining the work done gave his approbation and dedicated the edifice to the honor of Freemasonry, to Virtue as reflected in the moral duties of the fraternity, and to the Universal Benevolence of cordial affection to the whole family of mankind.
After the dedication ceremony, a marker was unveiled by Grand Master Johnny Pimentel and DDGM Rommel with the following inscription:
Mayor Joselito Angara Masonic Center
This Masonic edifice was erected through the efforts of VW Rommel T. Angara, District Deputy Grand Master of Masonic District RIII Nueva Ecija East and Aurora and Representative of the Lone District of Aurora to the 19th Philippine Congress, with the brethren of Kasiguruhan Masonic Lodge No. 423 to honor the memory of his late father who served the people of Aurora as Mayor of Baler (1978-1988) and is the first son of the Manuel L. Quezon Masonic Lodge No. 262, fondly remembered as a selfless public servant, a faithful brother of the Craft, an outstanding family man, and truly a man for all seasons.
This marker is unveiled this 31st day of March 2023 on the occasion of its dedication that was presided by MW Grand Master Johnny T. Pimentel of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the Philippines.
