Allium Cepa Finally Constituted as Masonic Lodge No. 453; District Donates to the GLP's Vaccination Drive

After a long wait and several delays due to the constraints of the COVID-19 pandemic, Allium Cepa Masonic Lodge No. 453 was finally constituted as a regular Lodge in a ceremony that was presided by Grand Master Rolen Paulino at the Grand Lodge of the Philippines.

VW Prudencio "Amang" Elegado thus lay claim to what can be a rare achievement of serving as Worshipful Master of four different Lodges --- Nueva Ecija Masonic Lodge No. 73, Zaragoza Masonic Lodge No. 263, Model Masonic Lodge No. 373 and Allium Cepa Masonic Lodge No. 453 --- as he received their charter from the Grand Master with DDGM Hossain Shamsoddin Vostakalaei and the officers of Allium Cepa who were also duly installed in their respective positions.

On hindsight, the number 3 which is the smallest number needed to create a pattern and symbolizes the triangle which is an important Masonic emblem is a fitting lucky number for VW Amang and rightly so because it also represents the Trinity of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.   


After the constitution ceremony, DDGM Hossain with District Secretary Edison Rivera, WB Alfred Leonard Domingo of Talavera Masonic Lodge No. 273 and Junior Grand Lecturer Raymond Flores called on the Grand Master and handed a donation of P100,000 from MD RIII Nueva Ecija East and Aurora to support the Grand Master's vaccination program.

As is the tradition, DDGM Jebong announced the beginning of his incumbency by visiting the first four subordinate Lodges of Masonic District Nueva Ecija East and Aurora. He first visited Model Masonic Lodge No. 373 in Sto. DDGM JEBONG IN JULY: District Convention Elects DDGM Hossain as its JGW Nominee

On 19 July 2024, DDGM Jebong convened the subordinate Lodges of Nueva Ecija East and Aurora at the Talavera Masonic Lodge 273 for their annual District Convention . With DDGM Jebong presiding, the District Convention unanimously elected VW Hossain Shamsoddin Vostakalaei , one of its past District Deputy Grand Masters, as its nominee for the position of Junior Grand Warden in ANCOM 2025. In between, DDGM Jebong continued with his official visits to the District's subordinate Lodges --- in Baler whose Lodge memorializes the first Filipino Grand Master and in Palayan City that has been Nueva Ecija's capital city since 1965 --- to remind and exhort the brethren to " bring more light among Mason " which is is the central them of Grand Master Ariel Cayanan's incumbency.
