Nueva East and Aurora Holds Annual District Convention

The second Annual District Convention of Masonic District RIII Nueva East and Aurora was convened by DDGM Hossain Shamsoddin Vostakalaei on November 26 at Talavera Masonic Lodge No. 273 with strict health protocols in place including mandatory antigen testing for all attending delegates.  

At the Convention, the delegates from the District's subordinate Lodges and incumbent District officers unanimously adopted Resolution No. 01-2021 "supporting the request of Deputy Grand Master RW Johnny T. Pimentel to extend term of office of all elected and appointed Grand Line officers for one year with the caveat that Subordinate Lodges shall be allowed to elect and install their officers for the ensuing Masonic Year".

The Convention also unanimously elected VW Emil Andrew Dela Rosa II, a past DDGM of then Masonic District Nueva Ecija South and Aurora, as its official Junior Grand Warden nominee.

The Convention was graced by the presence of VW Judge Trese Wenceslao, also a past DDGM of Nueva Ecija South and Sovereign Grand Inspector General of the Supreme Council of the Ancient and Accepted Scottsh Rite of Freemasonry in the Philippines, who delivered the keynote address.  

Aside from being a major annual District event, the Convention's adoption of Board Resolution 01-2021 is the culminating moment of DDGM Hossain's consultations with his Subordunate Lodges as provided for by Grand Master's Circular No. 15 (MW Paulino) to hold "consultations throughout the Grand Jurisdiction on Certain Proposals pertaining to the Governance of the Craft" in preparation for the mandate of Edict No. 343 calling for "Special Communication to Deliberate and Resolve the Proposal to Extend the Term of Office of the Grand Master and All Elected Grand Line Officers" that will be convened on December 17.

DDGM JEBONG IN JUNE: Igniting "Men in Light" and "Light Among Masons"

As is the tradition, DDGM Jebong announced the beginning of his incumbency by visiting the first four subordinate Lodges of Masonic District Nueva Ecija East and Aurora. He first visited Model Masonic Lodge No. 373 in Sto. DDGM JEBONG IN JULY: District Convention Elects DDGM Hossain as its JGW Nominee

On 19 July 2024, DDGM Jebong convened the subordinate Lodges of Nueva Ecija East and Aurora at the Talavera Masonic Lodge 273 for their annual District Convention . With DDGM Jebong presiding, the District Convention unanimously elected VW Hossain Shamsoddin Vostakalaei , one of its past District Deputy Grand Masters, as its nominee for the position of Junior Grand Warden in ANCOM 2025. In between, DDGM Jebong continued with his official visits to the District's subordinate Lodges --- in Baler whose Lodge memorializes the first Filipino Grand Master and in Palayan City that has been Nueva Ecija's capital city since 1965 --- to remind and exhort the brethren to " bring more light among Mason " which is is the central them of Grand Master Ariel Cayanan's incumbency.
