At its 36th installation rites, the time-honored Masonic ceremony of WB Esteban Nicanor Domingo handing over the leadership of Talavera Masonic Lodge No. 273. to WM Nerito Santos Jr. was presided by VW Manuel Palomo (Past Grand Orator) in the packed function hall of the Crystal Waves Events Center. The occassion was graced by VW Gov. Aurelio Umali who as the guest of honor and speaker expounded on the Masonic symbolism of the cable tow, a subject that was profounded by DDGM Rommel Angara of Masonic District Nueva Ecija East and Aurora in his closing message where he reminded the brethren on the imperative of maintaining harmony in the Lodge and among the brethren. WB Nerito Santos Jr. is the incumbent mayor of the Municipality of Talavera in Nueva Ecija. 

The 2023 installation season has begun and drawing first blood for Masonic District Nueva Ecija East and Aurora is Model Masonic Lodge No. 373 in Sto. Domingo, Nueva Ecija where WB Carlo Valmonte was installed as Master of the Lodge for Masonic Year 2023-2024. In his closing address, DDGM Rommel Angara reminded WB Carlo of his important role to serve as the mediator of the Lodge, to build bridges of friendship and tear down walls of animosity among the brethren as a fitting emphasis on an earlier message from PDDGM Dr. Jose Ravinar Austria, Chief of Medical and Professional Staff of the Dr. Paulino J. Garcia Memorial and Medical Center and the guest of honor and keynote speaker, for the Worshipful Master to use his heart in governing his Lodge. Amen to that and congratulations WB Carlo and the brethren of Model Masonic Lodge No. 373!
