On his 126th death anniversary, the legacy and heroism of Bro. Jose. P. Rizal was celebrated by the brethren of Masonic District Nueva Ecija East and Aurora with the Municipal Government of Talavera led by Bro. Mayor Nerito Santos Jr. and Sis. Vice-Mayor Nerivi Santos-Martinez. After the traditional wreath laying, the elected Worshipful Masters, Senior and Junior Wardens of Nueva Ecija East and Aurora's eight subordinate Lodges trooped to Talavera Masonic Lodge No. 273 for their required proficiency examination that was presided by District Secretary VW Edison Rivera and the District Grand Lecturers.    kkkk

There was of course good music from a live band that inspired everyone in attendance to dance. And a truckload of raffle prizes from DDGM Rommel Angara of Masonic District Nueva East & Aurora and his District Grand Lecturers. There was an abundance of festive food and as the brethren and families of Masonic District Nueva Ecija East and Aurora celebrated the Nativity of Jesus at the Baler Beach Club in Aurora Province, lucky winners were drawn who went home with a 55-inch Devant Smart TV, a Samsung washing machine and 8 Samsung A04 smart phones. Twenty-five lucky winners also won cash gifts of P5,000 each and 5 more went home with P3,000, while 70 others took assorted gift items.  And there was more to celebrate for Talavera Masonic Lodge No. 273, Palayan City Masonic Lodge No. 311 and Pantabangan-Bonari Masonic Lodge No. 203 who were pleasantly surprised with a cash gift of P30,000, P20,000 and P10,000, respectively, as the top three Lodges with the most attendees.
